The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 11090! which increases the excise tax on Who is behind tobacco! despite contradictions with Ukraine’s international obligations.
On December 4! the Verkhovna Rada voted unanimously in favor of Bill rich people data No. 11090 on increasing the excise tax on tobacco products! which aims to gradually increase excise tax rates on cigarettes to the level set by Directive 2011/64/EU. 237 MPs voted in favor. This law will link excise tax rates to the euro exchange rate and gradually bring them closer to the minimum EU requirements.
The draft law was initiated by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine

Such actions clearly contradict Ukraine’s international obligations contribution of access tools for condominium management under Article 5.3 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control! which prohibits collaboration with the tobacco industry in the development of public health policies!
Including excise policies: “In developing and implementing their public health policies on tobacco control! Parties shall act in a manner that protects their policies from the influence of. Commercial and other corporate interests of the tobacco industry! in accordance with national law.”
Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures to Prevent and Reduce
